First time to WagerWitch? Yes, indeed…
S:
- good template
- your niche is obvious: online casino promotions
- nice header – even if the Witch could actually be bigger, much more visible
W:
- the site looks good, however in a way the first impression is that there is something missing. I understand that you woud like to be professional, but there are some details that point out that you’re not, e.g. too little font in the ‘First time to WagerWitch’- text, the conduit toolbar is out of proportions, the casino/spotlight of the week tabs do not work
- the design could have been more colorful, maybe
- as the person who has no idea about the online casino plays, I feel confused and not interested in reading your blog. It is of course my fault, you may argue, but what I would like to say by this is that …
O:
- …you may make one page explaining what online casino is all about. This would eventually make some random visitors interested in your site and in what you have to offer
- implement also some online-casino-news-related posts in order ot increase the number of interested seo friendly keywords
- I would say: because you’re a blog only, be more personal in your writing style – in this way you may attract more loyal users.
T:
- this would be only theorical as i do not know the niche too much, but guess that the people with interests in online-casinos would choose the more professional sites with more choice of offers.

I agree with your assessment that the format does not convey professionalism. I was unaware that there was any type of business type services being promoted as I scrolled through.
I thank you so much for the time you took to visit the website and look it over.
I soooo wish that you knew what the online casino industry was about, so that it would have been much more transparent to you.
In a need to explain, WagerWitch is a crossover – bringing the flambouyant Vegas blaring NON-Personal advertisement and changing it to a more friendly, more honest, more easily navigable site that hopefully provides a much wider variety of better casino deals for the visitors of WagerWitch.
I would have to say, that your average reader of WagerWitch are usually casino players – so for you it must have been akin to walking into a type of pornographic shop – without having meant to. Interesting but quite possibly too much at once.
I truly do appreciate your examination – and am thankful for your advice.
“I understand that you woud like to be professional, but there are some details that point out that you’re not, e.g. too little font in the ‘First time to WagerWitch’- text, the conduit toolbar is out of proportions, the casino/spotlight of the week tabs do not work”
I do know about the font being small – it’s partially a test for SEO brevity. But also for the first time visitor, something they can enlarge if they choose, but made small enough not to disturb the general reader… At least that was my intention. I thank you for bringing that to my attention and will consider bringing it to a small sidebar, instead of the top of each post.
And about the conduit toolbar – I cannot for the life of me figure out why the LINK to conduit will NOT allow the graphic image to be moved over to the left side or re-sized. That really stinks, but until Conduit figures out how to change that, I will have to put up with it. It is a complaint I have put in to them.
And you’re so very sweet about the template – As you said, the casino of the week doesn’t work yet. LOL – you came in on a template changeover. When I originally asked for your opinion it was on my original template. You’re walking in on a remodel.
I soooo appreciate your time, and keep up the good work.
